The version information in a product’s name is always represented by the number X.0 placed at the end of the product’s name.
For example: AV Voice Changer Software 7.0 means this is version 7.0 of the AV Voice Changer Software line.
Edition: A specific copy of a product in a product line. A product line might have more than one edition. These editions are distinguished from one another by the number of features available. In a product name, the edition information is often indicated by the text placed at the end of the product line’s name.
If the product line has only one (1) edition, the edition information will be left out.
If the product line has two or more editions, the lowest edition (having the least features) will often take the name of the product line as its own name, without including any edition numbering.
A specific product name is made of these elements:
Product line’s name + (Edition) + Version
